Annual Newsletter: May 2015
Welcome to everyone, old and hopefully new members
We are but a small club, 30 Pedigree members & 25 commercial members but what a fun and enthusiastic crowd they are, all of our members play an important roll in the club success at promoting the “LIMOUSIN” breed.
The pedigree members support our local shows, and keep an eye on the trends at the major sales in Newark & Carlisle with excellent results & trade at both. Our commercial members exhibit at the local shows and winter fatstock venues afar afield as Royal Welsh Winter Fair & Carlisle Expo, with great success.
Most importantly here in the South, all our members engage with the cattle industry via markets & shows to promote the “Limousin” as a terminal sire & a suckler cow to the beef industry, made easier with the facts and figures supplied from B.C.M.S, Basco weight recording and Health initiatives.
